When looking back at her past looks and stage outfits, the 'Lose You to Love Me' hitmaker reveals that Taylor Swift influences her early pop-star fashion while Britney Spears inspires her skin-tight glitzy jumpsuit for her 'Revival' tour.

AceShowbiz - Selena Gomez has taken a look back at her fashion moments over a decade in the spotlight. When breaking down her best and worst outfits, the "Lose You to Love Me" hitmaker laughed at her failed attempt to be "high fashion."

The former "Wizards of Waverly Place" star reflected on her past looks and stage outfits in a new Vogue video, which was uploaded on Tuesday, June 8. When reviewing her "Love You Like a Love Song" bejeweled colorful dress from her music video back in 2011, the 28-year-old star remembered, "I thought it was my time to cross over and become a pop star, whatever that was to me then. It just was really fun. I think it was the first time I tried to be high fashion." She then laughed and said, "And you can laugh at that because that's not high fashion."

Of the dress, Selena added, "Yeah, this was fun with me and my stepdad." The "Spring Breakers" star elaborated, "We got into a little bit of an argument. It was a lot of boobs. Ah, he's just protective. It's fun. I was 18 years old. This was 'Love You Like a Love Song'." She then confessed, "To be honest, when I was younger, [Taylor Swift] inspired me a lot when it comes to wardrobe and stage outfits. But you wouldn't be, no, you're never going to see me wear that again, no."

Elsewhere in the interview, Selena also discussed her skin-tight glitzy jumpsuit for her "Revival" tour. "This one, we did for the opening act. I'm not gonna lie, Britney Spears inspired it from 'Toxic' so I wanted to find a moment where that could kind of have its place," she admitted.

The "Baila Conmigo" singer additionally recalled how "hard" it was when she wanted to "pop" out her outfit but she had to "make it comfortable" at the same time. "It's so hard to tour when you're a female because you have all of this pressure to add multiple looks throughout the show and you want it to pop but you have to make it comfortable for yourself and realistic to dance in or to perform in," she stated.
