The 'Kid Cudi Man On The Moon III: The Chosen' artist admits in a new Instagram post that 'some days are great, others not so great,' adding that he relies on God a lot to get through it.

AceShowbiz - Kid Cudi gets candid about his battle with depression and anxiety in a new Instagram post. The "Pursuit of Happiness" star shares with his online devotees how he tries to deal with his mental health issues, which he has been struggling for years.

"Sadness eats away at me sometimes," so the rapper began writing in the Tuesday, June 8 post. "How do I deal? A lot of u hit me and ask how I get through. Truthfully, idk."

Cudi admitted that "some days are great, others not so great," adding that he relies on God a lot to get through it. "I just try to believe God has something better for me. I try to have faith in the light. Please, believe," he wrote. In the caption, meanwhile, Cudi said, "God has better days waitin for me. I just know it."

In response to the post, some fellow celebrities and fans showered him with love and support. Among them was Demi Lovato, who wrote in the comment section, "Here for you." "Pitch Perfect 2" actress Brittany Snow, who will star opposite the rapper in horror flick "X", also left an encouraging message for him. "Love you," she commented.

Back in 2016, Cudi checked himself into rehab for depression and suicidal thoughts. Taking to his Facebook page, the star opened up to his fans that "anxiety and depression have ruled my life for as long as I can remember and I never leave the house because of it... I dont trust anyone because of it and Im tired of being held back in my life. I deserve to have peace. I deserve to be happy and smiling."

He also skipped promoting his album "Passion, Pain & Demon Slayin' " due to the rehab stint. "Love and light to everyone who has love for me and I am sorry if I let anyone down. I really am sorry. Ill be back, stronger, better. Reborn. I feel like s**t, I feel so ashamed. Im sorry," he said at the time.
