In an episode of 'CBS This Morning', the Olympic gold medalist also explains why she thinks that she's fit for the job, saying, 'I think that’s a good thing, being from the outside.'

AceShowbiz - Caitlyn Jenner has shared more insights into her plans for her run for California governor. During her appearance on "CBS This Morning" on Wednesday, May 26, the Olympic gold medalist revealed whether or not she would make use of her famous children and step-kids' massive social media platforms to help her campaign.
"I did speak with all my children and I said, 'Hey, I don't want one tweet, I don't want you--this is my deal,' " Caitlyn shared, referring to her daughters Kendall Jenner, Kylie Jenner as well as her ex-wife Kris Jenner's kids Kourtney Kardashian, Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian and Rob Kardashian. That made one of the co-hosts, Anthony Mason, shocked as he asked, "You told them not to be involved?"
"Yes…Not to be involved whatsoever," Caitlyn responded. "I said if anybody asks any questions in the media -- because obviously they are in the media -- I just said, 'Say, 'No comment,' address your comment to me."
In the episode, Caitlyn also explained why she thought that she's fit for the job. "I think that’s a good thing, being from the outside. The insiders who we're talking about as what makes you qualified -- well, these insiders who are qualified…they're the ones responsible for 13.3% tax rates. We have the highest tax rates in the country. We have a homeless crisis in California. They're the ones responsible, not me. I'm going in there to fix those things," so she continued.
While it remains to be seen whether Kendall and Kylie are supportive of Caitlyn's governor run, Kim allegedly didn't agree with her former stepmom's opinions regarding releasing "dangerous criminals" from prison.
A source told TMZ that Kim was both "disappointed" and "disturbed" with Caitlyn's general views on prison reform. It was not surprising because the SKIMS founder has helped numerous people who were previously sentenced to life, including Alice Marie Johnson, Momolu Stewart and Tynice Hall, getting parole out of prison.
