The 'Hairspray' star flaunts her brand new diamond ring in an Instagram picture which also features her fiance, three months after announcing their betrothal.

AceShowbiz - Ricki Lake has just got her engagement ring, three months after getting engaged to her boyfriend Ross Burningham. The actress announced she and her beau officially got engaged months ago, but he apparently needed some time to pick the right ring for her.
It's not until Monday, May 24 that the Tracy Turnblad in the 1988 film "Hairspray" revealed she finally got her engagement ring. Making use of her Instagram account, she flaunted the brand new diamond sparkler.
The 52-year-old couldn't hide her excitement as she smiled widely and flaunted the ring on that finger, while posing for a selfie with her fiance. Her new piece of jewelry features a sparkling square diamond on a platinum band.
"Well, friends, he put a ring on it!" she captioned the snap. "#engaged to my magnificent king," she once again declared her status, before gushing about how that makes her feel, "I am officially the happiest woman in the land. My dear Ross, I choose you today and everyday!"
Ricki's followers were happy for her as they took to the comment section to congratulate the couple. "Mazel tov gurl!!!!" one person reacted to the happy news. Another commented, "So beyond happy for you!" A third follower wrote, "Omg how amazing Brody can dance at the wedding :) enjoy this epic moment you two," while someone else added, "This is so exciting! Congrats!"
Ricki announced her betrothal to Ross in February via Instagram, after dating for more than a year. Posting a picture of the two as they smiled ear-to-ear, the former talk show host declared, "Friends, I'm so so so excited to share some good news! I'm engaged! This is Ross. He is my person. He is wonderful."
