Through the new audio series, the Professor Pomona Sprout of 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2' meets a bodybuilder, a dominatrix and a musical trailblazer who found success in old age.

AceShowbiz - Award-winning British actress Miriam Margolyes is spotlighting people living out lifelong dreams in old age in a new audio series.
The 80 year old - known for her BAFTA-winning role in Martin Scorsese's "The Age of Innocence" and for playing Professor Pomona Sprout in "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II" - meets a winning team of subjects, determined to make their ambitions of decades come true at last, in "Growing Old Disgracefully".
The new Audible podcast will feature Sherry, who turned to a new career as a dominatrix to make ends meet when her husband left her; Shirley, who's a big hit on YouTube at 85; Ernestine, who became the world's oldest female bodybuilder, and Patrick, who was laughed out of Nashville, Tennessee in the 1970s when he tried to become country music's first openly gay star - and now has a record deal and touring career.
"I'll probably never get rich," Patrick notes in episode three, "but, man, I'm going down in history as the singer-songwriter of an album that made a significant contribution to changing the world. Would a bagful of gold be better? I don't think so."
All six 30-minute episodes are available now. The description of the series illustrated this new wave of seniors as "a new generation of rebels embarking on adventures, falling in love and breaking records," who are "ripping up the rulebook when it comes to ageing." In each episode, Miriam got together with one "to learn what they can teach us about living life to the full."
