AceShowbiz - Matt James and Rachael Kirkconnell are taking their relationship to a more serious level. According to a new report, "The Bachelor" couple is considering to move in together after they gave their romantic relationship another try following a brief split.
"Matt and Rachael are in a really good place right now and are getting serious. They are inseparable and talk all day, every day," a source close to Matt revealed to E! News. "They have been making many plans to see each other so not a huge chunk of time passes before their next visit."
The source claimed that they might make the East Coast their primary home. "They have discussed Rachael moving to New York City to be closer to Matt and she has always loved the city, so it would work out well," stated the insider.
"They are both taking it slow, but have talked about moving in together," the insider continued. "It is an option they are considering, but waiting to see how the next couple of months progress."
Matt and Rachael, who competed in his season of "The Bachelor", previously parted ways after the latter was embroiled in racism scandal as she was seen attending a antebellum-themed party back in highschool. However, they then reunited with Matt stating in April, "I'm not pursuing any relationships right now outside of that. I said I was going to focus on my relationship with her and that means focusing on it."
In a separate interview, Matt shared, "It's on people who care about being allies to do the work to be truly antiracist and I think it's unfair to leave people without the ability to unlearn and be better." The 29-year-old added that they tried to make things work after the two broke up when racially insensitive photos of her surfaced online.
"I think the best way to put it is that we can have critical conversations about being in this relationship," he reasoned during an interview with Wall Street Journal magazine. "And what I need in a partner - especially if that woman isn't black - to understand what comes with me and my life and being black."
