However, Kirkconnell swiftly denied the rumor in the comments section of the post. "Hmm wasn't me lol," she wrote, effectively shutting down any speculation.
This denial comes just over a week after James announced their breakup on Instagram. "Father God, give Rachael and I strength to mend our broken hearts. Give us peace about this decision to end our relationship that transcends worldly understanding," he wrote.
While Kirkconnell has remained relatively silent about the split, she has hinted that James' announcement came as a surprise to her.
