AceShowbiz - With his deep voice and strong jawbone that made him a perfect fit for the Batman role in Christopher Nolan's trilogy, Christian Bale undoubtedly deserved the sex symbol sash. But "The Dark Knight Rises" didn't seem to be impressed at all with the status.
"Who isn't one these days?" he scoffed at the question about his then-newly-cemented "pin-up" status in 2008. Suggesting that there's no value whatsoever in the status, he cynically added, "All you have to do is stand on this side of the red carpet and you’re called a sex symbol. There’s no more to it than that."
