This arrives after the 'Masked Singer' host faced backlash for comparing white people to 'animals' and 'true savages' because he believes white people are afraid of black people.

AceShowbiz - Dwyane Wade is clarifying his supportive tweet for Nick Cannon following the latter's controversial "anti-semitic" comments. Seemingly showing that Nick got his back, the retired basketball player initially wrote to Nick on Twitter, "We are with you. Keep leading!"

However, he then deleted the tweet from his page before offering a clarification of her stance amid the controversy. "I want to clarify my now deleted tweet. I was not supporting or condoning what Nick Cannon specifically said, but I had expressed my support of him owning the content and brand he helped create," Dwyane said, followed by a prayer emoji.

He admitted that he "was too quick to respond without being fully informed about his hurtful anti-Semitic remarks." He went on insisting, "As you all know I have ZERO tolerance for any hate speech!"

This arrives after Nick faced backlash for comparing white people to "animals" and "true savages" because he believes white people are afraid of black people. "They have to rob, steal, rape, kill in order to survive. So then, these people that didn't have what we have -- and when I say we, I speak of the melanated people -- they had to be savages," he said in an episode of his podcast "Cannon's Class". "They're acting as animals so they're the ones that are actually closer to animals. They're the ones that are actually the true savages."

The comments cost him gig on ViacomCBS as the network decided to fire him. "ViacomCBS condemns bigotry of any kind and we categorically denounce all forms of anti-Semitism," a Tuesday, July 14 statement read. "We have spoken to Nick Cannon about an episode of his podcast 'Cannon's Class' on YouTube, which promoted hateful speech and spread anti-Semitic conspiracy theories."

Following the massive criticism, "The Masked Singer" host took to his Facebook account to stress that he does not "condone hate speech nor the spread of hateful rhetoric." He added, "I am an advocate for people's voices to be heard openly, fairly and candidly. In today's conversation about anti-racism and social justice, I think we all - including myself - must continue educating one another and embrace uncomfortable conversations - it's the only way we ALL get better."
