Jodi Kavney, the mother of Corey Pack, is launching a $11 million lawsuit against Cleopatra Bernard two years after the tragic murder of the 'Moonlight' rapper.

AceShowbiz - XXXTentacion's mother is facing another legal battle over the money he left behind. Two years after the "Sad!" hitmaker was tragically gunned down in South Florida, Cleopatra Bernard was accused of stealing millions of dollars from the trust fund the rapper allegedly set up for his half-brother Corey Pack.

Filing a lawsuit against Bernard was Pack's mother Jodi Kavney. In the legal documents obtained by TMZ, Kavney alleged that the slain 20 year-old rapper listed her son as one of the beneficiaries to his $50 million estate. She claimed that while 50 per cent of the asset went to Bernard and another 25 per cent was set for XXX's brother, Aiden Kerr, the rest was set aside for Pack.

Kavney went on to note that Bernard did not honor the breakdown, and instead made a deal with XXX's baby mama that cut Pack out of his share. In her attempt to recover the asset, she further claimed that Bernard "improperly and surreptitiously transferred" to herself. She now seeks $11 million in damages.

In her lawsuit, Kavney additionally insisted that Pack is entitled to ownership rights to XXX's record label, Bad Vibe Entities. Her attorney, Natasha Shaikh, claimed that they have tried to keep the matter out of court by sending Bernard a demand letter for her to return Pack's $11 million portion. However, their attempt received no response from Bernard.

XXX, whose real name was Jahseh Onfroy, died in a shooting after he left a motorcycle dealer in Deerfield Beach in June 2018. He was rushed to a nearby hospital after police found him slumped over in his car, but he passed away from his injuries. Four men, Michael Boatwright, Trayvon Newsome, Dedrick Williams and Robert Allen, have since been arrested and charged with murder.

In regards to Bernard, she was reported to be fighting over her late rapper son's estate with his father Dwayne Onfroy. In mid-February 2020, court records uncovered that she filed a proof of service against Onfroy, who in 2019 asked the court to be included in decisions about his son's music, business and money.

Bernard has also battled music producer James "Jimmy" Duval over claims that her rapper son owed him $2 million from unpaid royalties. Meanwhile, in a separate case, she settled a custody battle with XXX's baby mama Jenesis Sanchez over her grandson Gekyume Onfroy after establishing a trust fund for the toddler.
