Sharing clips on Instagram featuring tattoo artist Nikko Hurtado inking a spot on her neck and wrist, the wife of the fallen NBA star reveals that she got the tats back in February.

AceShowbiz - Vanessa Bryant has found another way to pay tribute to her late husband Kobe Bryant and daughter Gianna, who tragically died in a helicopter accident back in January. Taking to her Instagram page, Vanessa shared a video showing her getting tattoos to honor the two.
"I wanted my boo boo's @kobebryant sweet message transferred on me," Vanessa captioned one of the clips, featuring tattoo artist Nikko Hurtado inking a spot on her neck. "@nikkohurtado came through for me. Thank you! #inked #messagetransfer #BooBoo #throwback."
In another post, Vanessa gave a shoutout to Nikko. "Shoutout to @nikkohurtado for coming over and helping me get my Gigi's sweet message transferred on me," she stated, before revealing that she got the tats back in February.
The clip saw Vanessa smiling to the camera as "Sky Walker" by Miguel played in the background. Among other songs played in the video were "Oh Pretty Baby" by Lauryn Hill and "That's What I Like" by Bruno Mars.
Nikko also reposted the video on his own page. "Truly honored to give you something to keep with you my friend," she wrote in the caption.
Vanessa isn't the only one who opted to memorialize Kobe in the form of inks. Kobe's friends and fellow NBA player LeBron James and Anthony Davis also previously shared that they both received tattoos to honor Kobe.
Her post arrives days after Vanessa celebrated what would have been Gianna's eighth-grade graduation. Posting a picture of a diploma from Harbor Day School covered in white flowers on Instagram on June 5, Vanessa wrote, "Congratulations on your 8th grade graduation Gigi. I love you forever and always. I'm so proud of you. [heart emoji], Mommy #classof2020."
