Scottsdale Police Department announced charges against Jake Paul.

Earlier report by ABC 15 Arizona suggested that the content creator was also arrested in relation to his participation in the Saturday night, May 30 riots.

The charges against Jake came days after video footage of him inside the Fashion Square Mall while looting took place went viral. The younger brother of Logan Paul, however, was quick to deny that he and his friends took part in the act of vandalism.

In a statement he released on Sunday, May 31, Jake insisted that he does not "condone violence, looting, or breaking the law" or "was engaged in any looting or vandalism." He added, "For context, we spent the day doing our part to peacefully protest one of the most horrific injustices our country has ever seen, which led to us being tear-gassed for filming the events and brutality that were unfolding in Arizona."

As for his present at the mall, the ex of Tana Mongeau explained, "We filmed everything we saw in an effort to share our experience and bring more attention to the anger felt in every neighborhood we traveled through; we strictly documenting, not engaging."
