AceShowbiz - Kylie Jenner's finance team is breaking its silence after Forbes revokes the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star's billionaire status. In a statement to Us Weekly, her attorney Michael Kump defended his client.

"We have reviewed Forbes' article accusing Kylie of engaging in deceit and a 'web of lies' to inflate her net worth," Kump stated on Friday, May 29. "The article is filled with outright lies. Forbes' accusation that Kylie and her accountants 'forged tax returns' is unequivocally false and we are demanding that Forbes immediately and publicly retract that and other statements."

The statement continued, "It is sad that, of all things, Forbes has devoted three reporters to investigate the effect of the coronavirus crisis on Kylie's net worth. We would not expect that from a supermarket tabloid, much less from Forbes."

This arrived after Kylie slammed the publication, which insisted Kylie is worth under $900 million, for revoking her billionaire status and accusing her of lying about her wealth. In an article, entitled 'Inside Kylie Jenner's Web of Lies and Why She's No Longer a Billionaire' on Friday, May 29, 2020, the publication suggested the reality TV star and make-up mogul had doctored tax documents for her Kylie Cosmetics company to swindle herself onto the title's famous Forbes Billionaires list.

Kylie, who was dubbed the world's youngest "self-made" billionaire by the magazine in March 2019, denied the claims, taking to social media to defend herself. "What am i even waking up to. i thought this was a reputable site... all i see are a number of inaccurate statements and unproven assumptions lol (laughing out loud). i've never asked for any title or tried to lie my way there EVER. period," she ranted on Twitter.

" 'Even creating tax returns that were likely forged' that's your proof? so you just THOUGHT they were forged? like actually what am i reading," she continued. "but okay i am blessed beyond my years, i have a beautiful daughter, and a successful business and i'm doing perfectly fine. i can name a list of 100 things more important right now than fixating on how much money i have."
