The 'Fancy' hitmaker catches wind of a fan tweet about freestyling skills of some female rappers and indirectly responds to it with an apparent shade in a now-deleted tweet.

AceShowbiz - Is Iggy Azalea shading fellow female emcees in her recent tweet? The "Fancy" hitmaker sparked speculations that she took aim at Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion after responding to a fan tweet about freestyling skills of some female rappers.

"a gun is pointed to your head the female rapper that has your zodiac sign has to do a freestyle to save you are you dead or alive?" wrote the fan in the said tweet featuring a picture of Iggy, Megan, Nicki Minaj and Cardi B. Iggy apparently caught wind of the post and indirectly responded to it in a now-deleted tweet on Thursday, May 21.

"I can't freestyle and that's fine," she wrote. Defending herself, she added, "But I can write the f**k outta a song & half the girls can't do either." While Iggy didn't name names in her tweet, many fans speculated that she was talking about Cardi and Meg.

"So is she saying Meg and Cardi can’t write? , because I know damn well she ain't talking about Nicki Minaj," a fan weighed in on the matter. "Who is 'half the girls '? Just say cardi," one other chimed in.

Seemingly believing that the "Bodak Yellow" raptress was the only one who fit the category, another fan commented, "She must have included cardi twice." A Megan fan then said, "Iggy are you included with the Half because Megan is a songwriter."

"They always coming for black women .... soon hip hop is going to be all white ppl watch... they steal everything and we let them," read another comment. Meanwhile, someone else seemed to be connecting this matter to Lana Del Rey's controversial Instagram post in which she dragged Beyonce Knowles, Nicki and Meg among others. "WHATS WITH THE WHITE WOMEN COMING FOR THE BLACK WOMEN TODAY WTF," asked the person.

Iggy has yet to comment on the report.
