Suggesting that stars should post footage of themselves getting drunk in their underwear, the 'Good Will Hunting' actress argues no one wants to be reminded some people have it good.

AceShowbiz - Minnie Driver has urged her fellow celebrities to tone down the high life when trying to connect with fans during the coronavirus lockdown, insisting no one wants to be reminded some people have it good.

The Brit suggests stars should post footage of themselves getting drunk in their underwear - because that's what half the world is doing - and stay away from photos that show off their beach houses and swimming pools.

"Celebrities have been really coming in for it," the "Good Will Hunting" star tells Vulture. "I've been keeping really f**king quiet, but I've been watching them, like, just put up another awesome video of, you know, somebody doing something funny that will make people smile."

"That's the extent of our duties right now. Don't say anything about what you're doing, because, oh my God, it's bad right now... Anything that's like, 'I'm just doing laps in my pool...' Nobody wants to hear that!".

The celebrities really came in for a bashing at the beginning of the lockdown in March when several joined Gal Gadot to film segments of them singing John Lennon's "Imagine" into iPhones.

The footage went viral but didn't quite connect with the public, who suggested the stars were tone deaf for filming outside marvellous mansions by the beach.
