Though not all of them did it out of choice, here are some silly and crazy activities that famous people have done while adjusting to their new routines during the downtime.

AceShowbiz - Coronavirus outbreak has forced many people around the world, including Americans, to self-isolate to help prevent the spread of the disease. While some may see it as the right moment to spend quality time with family members, those who have been used to active lifestyle may find staying at home for more than two weeks now torturing.

But thanks to technology, these bored people have found ways to keep them occupied. TV hosts, like Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel and Wendy Williams for example, have taken their talk shows to YouTube to keep people entertained. Singers and musicians have replaced arena concerts with home concerts on Instagram and streaming services, while Miley Cyrus has been hosting a new Instagram series to keep in touch with her fans and share updates from her quarantine.

Not all, however, have the best ideas on how to fight boredom. Attempting to do something for the sake of their own or their fans' amusements, some celebrities ended up doing embarrassing things or being laughed at. While not all of them did it out of choice, here are some silly and crazy activities that famous people have done during the downtime.

1. Boosie Badazz

Boosie Badazz a.k.a. Lil Boosie's way of having fun from home almost cost him his Instagram account. Making use of the social media platform's Live feature, he connected with his fans when a woman surprisingly showed him her boobs. That prompted him to come up with a crazy idea and ask his followers to get naked in exchange for a thousand dollars. Much to everyone's surprise, someone took it seriously and stripped down for the camera. But instead of the promised $1,000, he was planning only to wire her $25. A few days later, he returned to Instagram and said that the site threatened to shut down his account if he shows more nudity.

2. Kelly Clarkson

While many Americans run out of toilet paper, Kelly Clarkson was dealing with another kind of bathroom emergency. The "Since U Been Gone" singer, who has been practicing social distancing with her family in Montana, was forced to use her 3-year-old son's potty when the plumbing at her family's private cabin froze up. Instead of keeping it a secret, she unashamedly shared the story on her Twitter account. "So our plumbing froze up at our little cabin in Montana and, no joke, I just used my toddler's potty. And just like that I have no pride or shame!" she wrote, which earned her praises for being able to laugh at the bad situation.

3. Tyra Banks

Tyra Banks revealed her hidden talent as she got real about her struggle to style her hair while in quarantine. Having been used to receive a lot of pampering treatments, the supermodel who always looks stunning in front of camera documented one of her bad hair days. With her frizzy and unstyled hair, she filmed herself delivering a freestyle rap, lamenting her less-than-perfect appearance as she wasn't able to go to hair salon. Her followers praised her sense of humor and found the issue relatable, though there were also some naysayers who chose to focus on her disheveled looks.

4. Arnold Schwarzenegger

Using his status as a public figure, Arnold Schwarzenegger took to his social media account to deliver an important message about coronavirus. However, his pet animals distracted people's attention. In the video, the "Terminator" actor can be seen feeding miniature pony, called Whiskey, and donkey Lulu, carrots from the table in his kitchen, while reminding his followers to "listen to the experts," instead of "the morons," to stay home and practice social distancing. People found his PSA amusing, with one commenting, "What we all need right now is Arnie and his miniature indoor farm."

5. Ellen DeGeneres

When you have good pals, you're never alone. Having been stuck at home with no work to do, Ellen DeGeneres chose to browse through her contact list and call her celebrity friends she could think of without any clear intention. Most of the time, the daytime talk show host's conversations with the likes of John Legend and Chrissy Teigen, Jennifer Aniston, Adam Levine as well as Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel ended up sounding hilarious as she only called to ask them what they're up to. Those random phone calls were documented and shared by the comedian on her Instagram page, much to her fans' delight.

6. Blake Shelton

While Blake Shelton was proud of his mullet in the past, Gwen Stefani has previously shown her disapproval of her boyfriend's old hairstyle. That, however, didn't stop the country music star from pledging to revisit the look during the lockdown. With the No Doubt's singer's approval this time, the "Sangria" hitmaker announced that he's growing his hair back "as a symbol of hope or some s**t like that" amid the COVID-19 pandemic. The 43-year-old crooner later gave an update on his "quarantine mullet," which Gwen has given a little touch with stripes on the side of his head.

7. Pink and Corey Hart

While Blake Shelton pledged to grow his back hair longer than usual, Pink and her husband Corey Hart, on the other hand, wanted shorter hair. So when they were not able to go to hair salon or barbershop, they took matter into their own hands and gave themselves a haircut. Admitting that he lost it when clipping his hair, the motorcross rider ended up with a bare strip down the center of his scalp, with his brown hair still clear to see either side. Meanwhile, after a little too much drink, the "Just Give Me a Reason" songstress gave herself a botched job, which resulted in uneven cuts and a bald patch.

8. Serena Williams

Serena Williams appeared to be having a serious message in her March 19 Instagram Story posts, in which she opened up about her anxiety while staying home with her family amid the coronavirus outbreak. In the videos, the 38-year-old athlete shared that she has got a little paranoid whenever someone sneezes around her to the point that she gave her daughter Alexis Olympia a side-eye when she sneezed. However, as her story developed, it appeared that the tennis ace was poking fun at herself by jokingly suggesting that she might have developed multiple personalities while in quarantine. Throughout the confession, she changed wigs and skirts multiple times but at the end of it, she seemed to be confused as to how she looked different from she was in the beginning of the videos.

9. Lil Yachty

Lil Yachty kept himself entertained by making his fans do the unthinkable. The "Oprah's Bank Account" rapper went on Instagram Live to host his own kind of "talent show," where he offered fans money for doing some weird stuff. While the Atlanta star let people come up with their creative ideas, his offer drove people to perform strange stunts, such as eating condoms and deodorant, as well as consuming dog foods. Keeping his words, the 22-year-old sent $200 to a fan who shaved his eyebrows off on camera.

10. Shaquille O'Neal

Shaquille O'Neal may not be a comedian, but he surely has a knack of making people laugh. Earlier this month, the retired professional basketball player took on the viral Lysol Challenge that basically shows how one uses the disinfectant product to keep her/his hygiene. In his video, the 48-year-old dramatically sprayed an excessive amount of the product all over his body and head, while dancing to August Alsina's "I Luv This S**t". He ended up coughing, possibly because he opened his mouth all the time, prompting his Instagram followers to burst into laughter as they watched it.
