With many going into self-isolation to practice social distancing, the daughter of late Michael Jackson expresses concern about those struggling with loneliness and mental health issues.

AceShowbiz - Michael Jackson's daughter is encouraging people to stay connected as the coronavirus pandemic forces at risk youngsters to self-isolate.

Model and actress Paris Jackson shared her thoughts with TMZ while out and about in Los Angeles, and expressed concern about those struggling with loneliness and mental health issues during the the health crisis.

"I think this is pretty tricky because as humans we are, by nature, very social creatures, which is why we've always lived in tribes and communities, so this is probably pretty difficult," she told the outlet. "I think it helps that we live in a day and age where communication is so easy. You can talk to someone on the other side of the globe with just the click of a button."

She then warned against emotional isolation, urging people to communicate and read up on skills to cope with anxiety.

"It's definitely helpful to stay connected with other people and to not emotionally isolate," she added. "There are millions of different ways to handle anxiety, everyone's coping skills are different. I encourage everyone to educate themselves on different coping skills."
