AceShowbiz - "The Bachelorette" alum Chad Johnson has got a visit from police amid his domestic abuse allegations. The reality TV star was visited by cops at his home in the San Fernando Valley on Friday, February 28 after he posted a photo that hinted at suicidal thought.

The contestant of the ABC dating series' season 12 sparked concerns after he shared on Instagram Stories a picture of a rope, which was apparently tied to a door, along with a caption that read, "It'll be okay." According to TMZ, Chad's friend saw the now-deleted photo and called local police as he could not reach the 32-year-old around the same time he posted the photo.

Police then rushed to Chad's house and performed a welfare check on him. After having a conversation with the former "Bachelor in Paradise" contestant, cops determined that he was not a threat to himself or others.

Chad's alarming post came just days after he was arrested following an argument with his girlfriend Annalise Mishler. It allegedly turned physical and Annalise shared a video on Sunday, showing a hole in the wall where he reportedly punched. Another video also showed Chad allegedly "screaming" outside of her door and trying to get inside. Chad was booked for felony domestic violence and robbery as police found visible red marks on Annalise's face.

On Thursday, Chad took to Instagram to share his side of the story. In a video, he denied allegations of domestic violence. "I have never laid hands on a woman any time in my entire life," so he claimed. He blamed the incident on a "big relapse" in his drinking habits. He explained, "I made a promise to myself and my girlfriend that I wouldn't [drink] anymore, and as most of you know, that has been an issue in my life. Whenever I do drink, I don't act right."
