The 'Yummy' singer shows off his clean-shaven face on Instagram after many people took to social media to express how much they disliked his facial hair, but hints that it's only temporary.

AceShowbiz - Justin Bieber has bid goodbye to his unpopular mustache. Having been bombarded with constant requests from fans that he should have gotten rid off his facial hair, the "Yummy" hitmaker finally showed off a clean-shaven face.

On Sunday afternoon, February 16, the husband of Hailey Baldwin took to his Instagram Story handle to share the moment he granted fans' wish. In a series of clips, he was captured walking to a bathroom mirror while holding an electric razor in one hand and his iPhone in another hand. He then slowly removed his mustache using the razor, before presenting two after-shave photos.

The "Sorry" hitmaker flaunted his fresher look.

The "Love Yourself" singer also put out his post-shave look on his Instagram feed account. Along with a photo he labeled "Baby Face BIEB", he announced, "I shaved." Still, he was quick to tease that he might re-grow his mustache in the future as he wrote the following, "MUSTASHIO went on holiday, but he will be back in due time."

Bieber's fresher look drew positive reactions. His 23-year-old model wife expressed her approval by writing, "yeeeeee," along with a heart-eyes emoji. His mother Pattie Mallette simply wrote, "Ya praise God." His manager Scooter Braun, however, seemed to have missed the mustache already as he commented, "Where the hell is ricardo mustachio?? What have you done with him???"

Bieber first garnered criticism over his decision to grow facial hair in January after he let out a photo of him sporting handlebar mustache while flaunting a diamond grill. "u look homeless", "U look like the old man across the street that always stares at me" and "literally do you think the mustache is cute" were some of the responses he received for it.

Nonetheless, the "Baby" hitmaker was seemingly left unfazed by the hate comments. Hitting back at the disapproval, he uploaded a black-and-white photo of his new look. Along with it, he wrote, "MY STASH MY LIFE DEAL WITH IT HAHA."

The "What Do You Mean?" singer reportedly considered his mustache as a form of rebellion. "He doesn't even like it himself, but the more people hate it the longer he wants to keep it," a source told Page Six about it. "The more his wife dislikes it and the more the world dislikes it, the funnier he thinks it is."
