The 'Grace and Frankie' actress reveals she officiated Griffin's New Year wedding in order to pay her debt after getting free private jet ride from the comedienne.

AceShowbiz - Lily Tomlin agreed to officiate Kathy Griffin's New Years Day wedding in order to pay her back for a private jet ride.
The "Grace and Frankie" star is no longer indebted to her fellow comedienne after stepping up at the ceremony.
"We'd both gone to the Traverse City Film Festival (in Michigan) and had rented a chartered jet, which cost her $50,000," Lily revealed during a Monday night appearance on "The Late Late Show in America". "She gave me a free ride and kidded me a lot about owing her 25 grand. So I told her I would officiate at the wedding for $25,000 and then we'd be even."
Griffin married her longtime partner Randy Bick in the early hours of January 1, 2020, and took to Twitter to share video of the intimate event.
Tomlin also noted that she plans to officiate more weddings when "Grace and Frankie" ends with season seven.
"I had to go online and become an officiant," she said. "I'm counting on doing quite a bit of that now that we'll be leaving Grace and Frankie in July."
