The late actor's personal collection, which includes 21 cars, trucks and motorcycles, hit the auction block as part of a Barrett-Jackson sale in Scottsdale, Arizona.

AceShowbiz - Paul Walker's personal car collection has hit the auction block. A part of a Barrett-Jackson bidding event in Scottsdale, Arizona, a total of twenty-one vehicles owned by the late "Fast & Furious" franchise star has been sold for over $2.3 millions.
The auction itself took place from Wednesday, January 15 to Saturday, January 18. The biggest sales came from an Alpine White 1995 BMW M3 Lightweight, which collected $385,000, on the final day. It was one of five white BMW M3 Lightweight Editions being sold, with the others bringing in between $220,000 to $258,500.
Other vehicles reeling in big bucks at the auction included a 2009 Nissan 370Z, which made an appearance in 2011's "Fast Five" as well as a 1989 Nissan Skyline R32. Both were sold on Thursday, January 16, for $105,600 and $100,100 respectively.
Prior to the auction, Barrett-Jackson's chairman and CEO Craig Jackson compared Walker to "Steve McQueen, who lived his passion for racing in every aspect of his life." He added that the actor, who died at the age of 40 in a car accident back in 2013, "has inspired entire generations of car lovers."
"We worked closely with a close friend of Paul's who helped care for Paul's collection following his death; he was responsible for consigning and prepping the vehicles for the auction. Paul's daughter, Meadow, kept a few vehicles she had a connection with."
Speaking of Walker's BMW M3 collection, Jackson pointed out, "Paul was a racer at heart." He elaborated, "We're told Paul spent countless hours on the track perfecting his racing skills. The question of whether he intended to build a racing team is something we may never know. When Paul purchased the five BMW M3 Lightweights, he envisioned them as his own investment vehicle."
All proceeds from the auction will go a trust for Walker's daughter, Meadow Rain. The 21-year-old currently manages the Paul Walker Foundation and has, in December 2019, launched a campaign to build a school for underprivileged kids. She explained, at the time, that her partnership with Pencils of Promise is done in memory of her father.
