The Netflix mob drama directed by Martin Scorsese has added more trophies to its collection by taking home Best Picture and Best Director at the awards show.

AceShowbiz - Martin Scorsese's "The Irishman" has been named Best Picture at the 2020 Movies for Grownups Awards.
The mob drama also earned Scorsese the Best Director honour at Saturday's January 11, 2020 ceremony in Beverly Hills, California, organised by officials at the American Association of Retired Persons (AARP) The Magazine.
Adam Sandler won the Best Actor title for "Uncut Gems", "Judy" 's Renee Zellweger claimed Best Actress for her performance as Judy Garland, and Tom Hanks ("A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood") and Laura Dern ("Marriage Story") picked up supporting actor accolades.
Best Screenwriter went to "Marriage Story" filmmaker Noah Baumbach, Best Ensemble was handed to the cast of Daniel Craig's "Knives Out" murder mystery, and the Readers' Choice prize was given to Hanks' Mr. Rogers movie "A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood".
Comedy/drama "The Farewell" was declared Best Intergenerational Film, Spanish director Pedro Almodovar's "Pain and Glory" won Best Foreign Language Film, and Harriet Tubman biopic "Harriet" was awarded Best Time Capsule.
Annette Bening was also feted with a career achievement honour at the AARP's 19th Annual Movies for Grownups Awards, which celebrate films for fans aged 50 and over and was hosted by actor Tony Danza.
