AceShowbiz - The actress who played baby Emma in '90s sitcom "Friends" took to Instagram to joke she's "finally" woken from her nap, in a hilarious nod to one of the sitcom's classic episodes.

In 2003 episode "The One with the Cake", Courteney Cox and Matthew Perry's characters Monica and Chandler miss their vacation to celebrate the tot's first birthday - even though she ends up sleeping through the whole thing.

Chandler didn't hesitate to let Emma know his true feelings towards Jennifer Aniston and David Schwimmer's characters Rachel and Ross' first daughter when they made their pals film a special 18th birthday message for their first daughter – which, in the timeline of the show, is coming up in May this year.

"Hi, Emma. It's the year 2020. Are you still enjoying your nap?" Chandler snapped in the video.

"We're Aunt Monica and Uncle Chandler, by the way – you may not recognise us because we haven't spoken to your parents in 17 years," Monica moaned, as Chandler jumped in: "We used to be married but then we missed a weekend away together and things kind of unravelled… Because of you."

Taking to Instagram on New Year's Day, actress Noelle Sheldon - who starred as the baby alongside her twin sister Cali Sheldon - shared a doctored snap of her in the iconic Central Perk coffee shop, with the caption: "Just woke up from the best nap of all time, happy 2020!! (ft. my poorly done photoshop)."

"Hope everyone has an excellent year full of family, friends, and laughter!!" she added, as her twin commented beneath, "Finally."
