The former 'Today' anchor and the marketing guru, who bears a strong resemblance to his ex-wife Annette Roque, have been spotted having a fun bike ride during their stay in the Pacific Ocean island.

AceShowbiz - Matt Lauer rang in the new year with a new lady, months after finalizing his divorce with his longtime wife Annette Roque. The disgraced television news anchor has reportedly been spending the holidays with his new girlfriend Shamin Abas in New Zealand.
According to Radar Online, the pair boarded a flight together in New Jersey on December 19. They have reportedly been spending time at his $9 million lakefront New Zealand farm, Hunter Valley Station.
In pictures obtained by the site, the two appeared to enjoy a fun bike ride on Thursday, December 26 during their stay in the Pacific Ocean island. They bundled up in jacket, with Matt also seemingly trying to go incognito by wearing a baseball cap and sunglasses. Shamin, meanwhile, sported a gray hat. At one point, they stopped as the former "Today" co-host took a snap of the picturesque landscape of the countryside.
Onlookers allegedly tell the site that they mistook Shamin for Matt's ex Annette due to their uncanny resemblance. "Some people thought it was Annette," says an eyewitness. The couple was also spotted hitting the town on Friday.
In Touch was the first to report that Matt has been seeing his longtime friend Shamin. They reportedly have known each other for at least 15 years and the two were were first linked to each other in 2005. "Obviously, one thing led to another, and they're a full-fledged item now," a so-called insider told the publication.
Even though many of Matt's pals "turned their backs on him" following sexual misconduct allegations against him, Shamin, 50, who runs a luxury brand marketing firm, in the Hamptons, "knows who he is," said the source. "She's thrilled she's with him. She doesn't seem to have a care in the world."
Matt and Annette, who share three children together, split in the wake of his 2017 sexual harassment allegations. They reached a multimillion-dollar agreement and officially ended their marriage in September of last year.
