Some celebrities successfully remain faithful with their partners during filming, but others are risking their relationships or even marriages following an affair with their co-stars.

AceShowbiz - Working in entertainment industry and being surrounded by beautiful people can be a good thing or a bad thing, especially for those who are taken. While people would think that one would have a better self control once they have already committed to one person, that's not always the case.
Filming always requires actors to stay on set with fellow cast members for most time, not to mention they often have romantic scenes to shoot. Separating feelings from work may be a piece of cake for some people as some celebrities successfully remain faithful with their partners despite all that. However, others are risking their relationships or even marriages after not being able to stop their feelings to get in the way and cheating rumors with their co-stars are inevitable.
Most recently, Justin Timberlake made headlines after he was snapped getting intimate with his "Palmer" co-star Alisha Wainwright. He publicly apologized to wife Jessica Biel for it and it seemed like the pair managed to work their marriage out together.
Justin is not the only one who is caught in cheating scandal with his co-stars. From Brad Pitt to Meg Ryan, here are some celebrities who sparked cheating rumors with their working partners.
1. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie brought their romance in "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" in real life as they fell in love on the set of their 2005 blockbuster movie. That would be romantic if Brad wasn't married to "Friends" alum Jennifer Aniston at the time. The two denied their affair but Brad did split from Jen later in the same year after 7 years together.
Brangelina kept going strong as they tied the knot on August 23, 2014. The now-splitting couple shares 6 children together, three of whom are biological. Their romance didn't have a happy ending though, as Angelina filed for divorce in 2016. The two are currently in engaged in custody battle.
2. Ewan McGregor and Mary Elizabeth Winstead
Ewan McGregor was still married with her 22-year wife Eve Mavrakis when he was accused of cheating on her with his "Fargo" co-star Mary Elizabeth Winstead. As if that was not heartbreaking enough, Eve and their four daughters had to learn about his affair in a rather brutal way when a picture of him kissing Mary found its way out online on Ewan and Eva's daughter Esther's birthday in October 2017.
Devastated by the news, Esther realeased a song on Instagram in which she seemingly addressed the scandal. "I don't know how to forgive, I don't know if I can," she sang in the chorus of "Made You a Man", "Ruining me show me you're a man." Meanwhile, Ewan's another daughter Clara shaded her dad while gushing over her mom, "Nah I keep her away from asshole men who leave my goddess of a mother :)." She also branded Mary "a piece of trash" in an Instagram comment.
3. Chad Michael Murray and Paris Hilton
Chad Michael Murray and Paris Hilton showed off incredible chemistry while starring together in 2005's "House of Wax". The pair would make a lovely couple, but the problem was Chad wasn't single at the time. He was married to Sophia Bush for a month, whom the CW heartthrob met on the set of teen drama "One Tree Hill", when he was reportedly hooking up with the billionaire hotel heiress, who was also dating Nick Carter at the time.
The affair then became public 4 months later, prompting Sophie to file an annulment, citing fraud, but the annulment was denied. "I have been reduced to a Hollywood statistic, another joke marriage. I never expected to be married more than once," Sophia said at the time. Further making it worse, she had to endure working together with Chad for another 4 years fo "One Tree Hill".
4. Eddie Cibrian and LeAnn Rimes
LeAnn Rimes risked her 7 years of marriage to professional dancer Dean Sheremet when she was head over heels with her "Northern Lights" co-star Eddie Cibrian. Their relationship was wrong in so many levels as Eddie threw his marriage to Brandi Glanville for his new romance, in addition to betraying his 2 sons.
The pair allegedly didn't try to hide their affair, going to karaoke and flirting in front of their spouses. While Dean blamed himself for the scandal, "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" alum opened up about being cheated on by Eddie in her book, "Drinking and Tweeting and Other Brandi Blunders", in which she shared that Eddie insisted that he was innocent until the last. Brandi and Eddie split in 2010 and he got married to LeAnn a year later.
5. Kate Hudson and Owen Wilson
Kate Hudson's 6-year marriage to Black Crowe's singer Chris Robinson went south in 2006 when Owen Wilson came into the frame. The two met in a movie titled "You, Me, and Dupree", and it was said that their initial affair lasted only 6 months. However, that didn't stop Kate and Chris from getting a divorce.
Despite the divorce, that didn't mean Owen and Kate got together. If anything, his feelings for the actress took a toll on him as he attempted suicide when a photo of Kate kissing actor Dax Shepard circulated online. Following an up and down, Kate and Owen reunited with a marriage in their future plan before it eventually ended in 2 months.
6. Meg Ryan and Russell Crowe
People might remember the time when Meg Ryan and Dennis Quaid were among the sweetest couples in Hollywood in the early of 1990s. The two even welcomed a newest addition to their happy family with the birth of their son Jack in 1992. However, the happy moment stopped when Meg met Russell Crowe in 2000 on the set of "Proof of Life".
Meg and Dennis eventually got divorced which was finalized in 2001. Most people blamed her and her affair with Russell for the end of her and Dennis' 9-year marriage, but Meg claimed that the latter's serial philandering was the true culprit. "Russell didn't break up the marriage. He was definitely there at the end, but it wasn't his fault," she said. At the end, Meg and Russell didn't proceed with their romance. She was engaged to John Mellencamp before calling it off in November 2019.
7. Justin Theroux and Jennifer Aniston
People symphatized with Jennifer Aniston during the Brangelina scandal, but she wasn't entirely innocent either. The actress earned the Home Wrecker title when she and Justin Theroux had an affair on the set of the 2012 comedy, "Wanderlust". Justin was pretty much together with his longtime partner costume designer Heidi Biven at that time.
Heidi revealed that she was still living in the couple's home until after Jen and Justin had gone public with their affair. It was said that Jen personally apologized to Heidi as she felt guilty for how it went down. Jen and Justin later got married in 2015, though the pair announced that their marriage was over in February 2018.
8. Ryan Phillippe and Abbie Cornish
Ryan Phillippe and Reese Witherspoon's 8-year marriage came to an end in 2007 as he fell in love with his "Stop-Loss" co-star Abbie Cornish. The pair initially denied having an affair, but they eventually went public with their romance soon after Ryan and Reese divorced.
Ryan and Abbie enjoyed their relationship for 3 years before they appeared to drift apart. However, the infidelity apparently didn't cause a bad blood between Ryan and Reese as the Oscar-winning star attended Ryan's 2016 wedding to Paulina Slagter. Reese is currently happily married to Jim Toth.
