AceShowbiz - Cassie has confirmed report of her giving birth to her first child on Instagram. Taking to the photo-sharing platform on Wednesday, December 11, the songstress offered her followers the first glimpse of her newborn daughter, Frankie Stone Fine.
In the black-and-white photo, Cassie could be seen holding her daughter's little hand as she laid her on what appeared to be a blanket. It's clear that the "Me & U" singer is head over heels in love with her baby girl because she wrote in the caption of the image, "She's just different. Frankie Stone Fine. My BFF."
Her husband, Alex Fine, also shared on Instagram a glimpse of Frankie. In his photo, Cassie threw a smile to the camera while holding the baby girl, who looked warm in a black blanket. "My greatest Loves. These two girls made me the luckiest man on earth," he said.
Many friends and followers showered her with congratulatory messages, including Khloe Kardashian who wrote underneath the sweet photo, "Congratulations beautiful!!!! You're a mommy!!!!" Gabrielle Union sent her a lot of red heart emojis, while Robin Thicke's girlfriend April Love Geary simply told her, "Congrats love!!!" On the other hand, Malika Haqq gushed, "Frankie Fine. And she's FINE!"
Cassie and Alex welcomed their first child together on Friday, December 6 in Los Angeles. According to E! News, the "delivery went smoothly but was a long process." Of the couple adjusting their lives as new parents, the source noted that both Cassie and the little girl are "doing great," and Alex has been great "help trying to make sure Cassie gets enough rest." However, Cassie is allegedly "mesmerized by Frankie and doesn't want to leave her side."
"They want to wait a few more days before they have visitors over but they have been sending photos of their baby girl to all of their friends and showing her off," the source continued. "They are both so in love and so overjoyed they have a healthy baby."
