AceShowbiz - Congratulations are in order for Deelishis and her boyfriend Raymond Santana. Less than a year after the two started dating, the couple has decided to take their relationship to the next level by getting engaged. Both of them broke the happy news on social media on Thursday, December 5.

Deelishis shared on Instagram Stories a number of sweet videos of him popping the big question when they had meal with their friends. "You got him, girl!" one of her friends could be heard squealing as he put the diamond ring on her finger. Deelishis also couldn't hide her happiness, planting a kiss on Raymond's lips before hugging him. Meanwhile, another friend gushed over the ring, "Look at that diamond!"

Raymond also shared the video on his Instagram account, writing in the caption, "Yea its official... ya can really hate me now!! @iamsodeelishis is official off the market... shes all mines..."

Friends and followers have since been showering the couple with congratulatory messages, including Kandi Burruss and Emmy-nominated actress Marsha Stephanie Blake. Director Ava DuVernay was also among those congratulating the couple, saying, "Live your life like you want! Enjoy!" Meanwhile, someone suggested that they should stay engaged for a while before tying the knot.

It's unclear when exactly Deelishis and Raymond Santana started dating, though he confirmed their romance back in October with a sweet selfie. "Date night with this beauty...," he said at the time, adding a hashtag that read, "The beginning." Later, Deelishis said that she started dating Raymond, whose life story was recently portrayed on "When They See Us", after bonding over being misunderstood.

She wrote on Instagram, "He said 'London I was judged by many, even accused and convicted of a crime I never committed... trust me I know what it feels like to be judge by people who know NOTHING about you' ...I've been smiling ever since."
