AceShowbiz - Selena Gomez showed one of her most daring looks at the ACLU SoCal Annual Bill of Rights dinner. Stepping out for the event at the Beverly Wilshire Four Seasons Hotel on Sunday night, November 17, the 27-year-old singer was almost unrecognizable with her untypical bold makeup.

Instead of rocking her usual pink and nude lipstick color, the "Lose You to Love Me" songstress opted for a dark shade that accentuated her plump lips. Her maroon lips complemented her spicy orange collared Prada dress with long sleeves, while her long brunette tresses were styled in loose waves. She also rocked black open-toe high heels.

Selena attended the ACLU Bill of Rights gala to lend her support for songwriter and longtime collaborator Justin Tranter, who was honored at the event. Other honorees this year included Don Cheadle and Judy Balaban.

"At a time when our rights and freedoms are under all-out attack, we are proud to pay tribute to our honorees," ACLU SoCal Executive Director Hector Villagra previously said in a press release. "Their work and dedication inspire us."

In other news, Selena's recent attempt to show cordiality toward Bella Hadid didn't end up well. The 23-year-old model posted on Saturday a picture from her Dior ad or photo shoot. Showing her support to the 2016 Model of the Year, the former Disney Channel star commented, "Stunning," adding a heart-eye emoji.

However, Bella later deleted the post without an explanation.

Selena earlier extended an olive branch to Bella by following the younger sister of Gigi Hadid on Instagram. Selena and Bella share the same ex-boyfriend, The Weeknd, but the model called it quits with the "I Can't Feel My Face" crooner in August of this year, after rekindling their romance in 2018. They first started dating in May 2015, before they called it quits in late 2016. Shortly after their breakup, the Canadian singer was spotted kissing Selena.
