In his attempt to find a stable home for a number of puppies from the Ventura County Animal Services, 'The Leftovers' notes on social media that he has paid for the adoption fees.

AceShowbiz - Justin Theroux appealed to his ex-wife Jennifer Aniston on Instagram to adopt a dog from a rescue centre.

The star reached out to a number of famous pals, including Jennifer and pop star Selena Gomez, as he shared several snaps of pups from the Ventura County Animal Services on Instagram and penned an impassioned plea.

"KUMA had a rough day...We were working in Ventura and wouldn't you know it? We just HAPPENED to be RIGHT NEXT to @vcanimalservices," he wrote. "KUMA had a feeling there might be some amazing puppies in there SO, we went over to meet some of them... and the human SAINTS that take care of them. We met SOME SERIOUSLY CUTE PUPS.... Like ZUMO, SHOTTI ... A puppy that doesn't even HAVE name yet... AND... a very scared STELLA that was too scared to even say hi to us."

"KUMA used to be JUST like them... without a forever home. SO!!! She DEMANDED that we do something! SO!" he added.

"The Leftovers" star explained the adoption fees for the animals had already been paid, and they just needed a stable home for them to thrive.

"@selenagomez (sorry Selena, you know the drill) @jenniferaniston (yep, now that you're on here, your (sic) gonna get this a lot too)," he finished the post.

The "Friends" star parted ways with "Zoolander" actor Justin in February 2018, after two-and-a-half years as husband and wife. She joined Instagram last month (October 2019) and set a record for the site, getting herself over a million followers in just 45 minutes after posting a snap of herself and her former castmates from the hit sitcom.
