AceShowbiz - Just days after her romantic wedding with Justin Theroux in Mexico, new bride Nicole Brydon Bloom took to Instagram to share pictures from the wedding. Along with them, details of the nuptials including the guests slowly emerged.
The "Paradise" actress, aged 30, gushed about her breathtaking gown, custom designed by Victoria Beckham. Accompanied by stunning photos captured by wedding photographer Corbin Gurkin, Bloom expressed her gratitude and delight,
"This dress 🤍 Thank you @victoriabeckham for creating the most ethereal, dreamy wedding dress," the newlywed wrote in the caption. "I loved every minute of this day, and every minute in this gown."
Victoria Beckham, who celebrated her 50th birthday in 2024, also posted congratulatory messages and shared details about the bespoke ivory gown on her Instagram Stories.
"Designing your gown was such an honour," the former Spice Girls member wrote, "and it was incredible to see it come to life on your special day."
She revealed that the gown was crafted from French Chantilly lace, embellished with over 400 hand-cut, hand-stitched flowers. The bride paired it with custom Manolo Blahnik sandals - though she opted to go barefoot in the sand during most of the celebration.
Bloom shared with Vogue how this magnificent collaboration came to be. She mentioned Theroux's long-standing friendship with David Beckham, Victoria's husband, which facilitated initial conversations.
Bloom had adored Victoria's fashion style for years. A casual conversation during a weekend getaway with friends, including Victoria, unexpectedly turned into an opportunity for the designer to offer her services for Bloom's wedding attire.
"I showed her a few of my options and she suddenly, and hilariously, started describing what she envisioned for my gown—something more ethereal, flowy, and light for the sand, with tulle and soft flowers," Bloom told Vogue.
Both Bloom and Theroux were initially unsure about Victoria's seriousness in taking on the task, but soon enough, Bloom found herself in London for fittings. Her joy was evident as she reminisced about the entire process and the final product, which she deemed "elegant and timeless while also youthful and just a little sexy."
The magazine also posted photos of the guests that included famous faces like Ben Stiller and Jimmy Kimmel along with their respective wives, Christine Taylor and Molly McNearney, "Ant-Man" star Paul Rudd, and Beanie Feldstein and her wife Bonnie-Chance Roberts.
It's clear that this couture collaboration, born out of friendship and creative vision, culminated in a gown that perfectly encapsulated Bloom's bridal dreams.
