AceShowbiz - Perrie Edwards has sparked engagement talk among fans after joking on social media about taking her boyfriend's name.
The Little Mix singer took to her Instagram Stories when her soccer star boyfriend Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain was named Man of the Match for scoring the winning goal in Liverpool's clash against K.R.C. Genk on Tuesday, November 5, and eagle-eyed fans spotted an error.
In her first post, the "Wings" hitmaker celebrated Alex's goal with a celebratory snap, along with the caption: "You to me are everything my Alex Oxlade-Chamberlaine OH BABY OH BABEHHH."
One of the star's followers was quick to point out that Alex's surname was spelt incorrectly, as they sent the star a direct message from their jackhayes16 account, writing: "I love you and him but you should be able to spell his love, up them reds."
"F**k sakes! My bad. Thank you Jack," Perrie responded.
However, the error didn't go unnoticed by Alex himself, who poked fun at his girlfriend as he posted her snap with the caption: "@perrieedwards spell my name right at least will ya."
"I hate myself," the "Black Magic" hitmaker moaned as she shared a separate message from her beau, before penning: "It'll be way easier to spell when it's my second name and I have to write it all the time."
Perrie has been dating the sportsman since 2016. She was previously engaged to former One Direction star Zayn Malik.
