The 'Fancy' Hitmaker takes a swipe at her former mentor following his controversial strict parenting, saying he needs therapy to keep his control issues in check.

AceShowbiz - Iggy Azalea dissed her mentor-turned-adversary T.I. following his shocking statement about taking his 18-year-old daughter Deyjah to doctor every year to get her hymen checked. The Australian femcee called the male hip hop star a control freak who needed to go to therapy.

When T.I.'s revelation made headlines, Iggy posted a link to the news while commenting, "I won't say it but I will leave you this." She later couldn't help giving her two cents, "Right, I wish the women who interviewed him would have said something to him. He has serious control issues with women in all aspects of his life & needs therapy."

T.I. said in a podcast interview that he would accompany his daughter to gynecologist to check if her hymen was still intact every year after her birthday. Despite aware that there were other ways for hymen to get broken besides sex, he insisted on getting her daughter's virginity examined.

He would then coax her to sign waiver allowing the doctor to share the result of the exam. "I will say as of her 18th birthday, her hymen is still intact," he claimed. And he's not too worried that she would attract suitors because "who wants a virgin? Like, really? All that work," he said.

"I think that most kids in hindsight, looking back, they always thank their parents for not allowing them to damage themselves as much as they could have," he defended himself.

T.I., however, was not so strict with his sons. "I will definitely feel different about a boy than I will about a girl. And that's just the God's honest truth. I don't think there's any father out there who'll tell you any different," he claimed.

He soon faced backlash on the internet. He was called names on social media: "That's not parenting. That's control and it's sick asf," "Creep much ...," "This is weird," "Ugh. Men," "Something is not right," "I'm so disturbed by this."

Some called him out for having double standards when it came to his sons. "That's weird and toxic af bc he wouldn't do that with his sons, in fact congratulate them." There was also one commenter who wondered, "If one day y'all go and she's no longer a virgin, what he gon do?" Another wrote, "So incredibly inappropriate and will just encourage her to lie."

Some others said T.I. should have kept it secret because it might embarrass his daughter, "Going to the doctor with your daughter is ok, announcing it on the radio as some type of joke not ok." Meanwhile, this person took issues with the interviewers, "And this is extremely disgusting! and the fact that these interviewees (who are women) are laughing with him about it is absolutely sickening. AND TO THOSE OF YOU WHO ARE DEFENDING HIM YOU ARE JUST AS SICK AS HE IS."

Among the less harsh critics were those who gave him parenting advices. "It's important to sit and talk to with your daughter rather than do this... because sometimes they'll end up with men who show this same possessiveness and think that it's love...," one claimed.
