Naturally, some other fans jump to Sarah's defense in the comment section of her Instagram post and lecture the haters that the thing that Sarah and Wells do is consensual.

AceShowbiz - Sarah Hyland pissed off her followers with her recent Instagram post. The "Modern Family" star took to her account to post a goofy photo that she took with her friends and her fiance Wells Adams at a wedding, but apparently some people didn't find it funny.

In the picture, the 28-year-old actress was seen donning a black plunging dress which showed off her cleavage. Wells was seen standing behind her while grabbing her boobs as she made a funny face. "We take wedding photo booths very seriously... #mcm to the men who love and treat their ladies like queens," so Sarah wrote in the caption.

While the photo was adorable, many of her online devotees didn't take the post well. In the comment section, some of them labelled the actress "hypocrite" and promoted "patriarchal gender relations." One fan wrote, "Like queens = like objects? The dissolution of patriarchal gender relations can't come soon enough."

Another user added, "In times of gender balance and women's rights and respect, we still see pics like this... we are not moving forward with such mentalities." Meanwhile, someone seemed to reference how Sarah has been open about her own experience with sexual assault and called her a hypocrite because of the post.

Naturally, some others jumped to Sarah's defense and lectured the haters that the thing that Sarah and Wells did was consensual. "Y'all need to look up what the word 'consent' means lmao," one said. "I'm a [true] believer of equality and respect. And this picture is funny with consensual behavior. Good for you. Have fun," someone else wrote.

Sending love to the couple, another fan said, "This is truly funny and sweet, there is nothing wrong with your s.o. loving your body and being playful. Y'all are relationship goals!" Another comment read, "They are just having fun! #noonegothurtduringthisphotoshoot."

Sarah and Wells recently celebrated their engagement at a party in California. "You are all obviously here today because you have such a special place in our heart and we all love you very much," Hyland told guests in a video posted by Goreski. "Well we paid for all of this so drink up, I guess," Adams jokingly added. "Thanks for coming guys."

Hyland and Adams became engaged earlier this year while they were on vacation in Fiji. The actress has not yet shared any wedding details, but she previously said she started planning the nuptials immediately after Adams asked her to be his wife.
