Some people point out the fact that the actor claims he spent more than $7,000 for a plane ticket from Chicago to Las Vegas as the proof that he is lying during the interview.

AceShowbiz - Jason Mitchell has broken his silence on his sexual misconduct allegation, though many people are convinced that he wasn't telling the truth. Stopping by "The Breakfast Club" on Monday, November 4, the actor, who was fired from both "The Chi" and "Desperados" for inappropriate behavior, admitted he isn't "100% sure what the allegations themselves were."

He went on explaining what went down, from his perspective, with regard to the Netflix movie. Jason recalled helping one of his female co-stars get home after she got drunk one night. However, he was later questioned about what transpired that night but was never officially accused of anything specific. Netflix then made an "executive decision" to part ways with him, and it surely surprised him.

"I was a little baffled about that. But they did pay me in full, you know, before I left," he said. "If I did do anything, say anything, to make anybody feel any kind of way, you have my deepest apologies."

As for the allegations involving his former "The Chi" co-star Tiffany Boone, Jason insisted "there actually was no situation" with the actress. "Had me and Tiffany ever had a situation where I don't know, she might have felt sexually harassed, I can bet my bottom dollar, she would have told me about myself in that moment," he said, before claiming that showrunner of season 2 of the show, Ayanna Floyd, used "the #MeToo Movement as a really, really ugly weapon" against him.

"I might have unintentionally sort of intimidated her and I can take that L," he said, referring to Ayanna's claim that she was a "target" of his "rage and inappropriateness" on set. "For me I can definitely take my L and say, I could have handled that better," he continued. "There was a time where I could have just walked off. I didn't have to say anything to her. I didn't have to respond."

Instead of believing what he said during the interview, people were fully convinced that the actor was lying. "You can tell when somebody is bulls**tting and Jason Mitchell on the breakfast club ain't fooling nobody," one wrote. "Jason Mitchell is embarrassing himself on #BreakfastClub. He sounds like a kid in high school lying about how helped during a group project," another said.

Some others, meanwhile, pointed out at the fact that Jason claimed he spent more than $7,000 for a plane ticket from Chicago to Las Vegas and said that it was enough of proof that he was lying throughout the interview. "So who finessed Jason Mitchell for a $7800 Delta ticket from Chicago to Vegas?" one mocked him, while someone else said, "Just watched Jason Mitchell interview on @breakfastclubam no way I believe he paid 7800 for a 1st class round trip from Chicago to Las Vegas."
