AceShowbiz - Matthew Perry hasn't returned to his prime state, months after he opened up about his unfortunate therapy session. The 50-year-old actor looked worse to wear when he's spotted on a date with a mystery woman in Los Angeles.
The star, best known for his role as Chandler Bing on NBC's hit series "Friends", was pictured looking disheveled when he stepped out for a casual dinner on Sunday, November 3. His hair was unkempt and his clothes, which consisted of dark pants, a white v-neck and an oversized and unbuttoned plaid shirt, looked untidy.
He and his female companion showed little PDA outside Dan Tana's Italian restaurant in West Hollywood. Matthew was seen wrapping his arm around the woman's waist while they were talking on the street. At one point, the brunette woman put her hand on his shoulder.
The "17 Again" star was also seen smoking a cigarette. He and his female companion were greeting other pals and were later seen walking together. The mystery lady rocked a shirt, a black jacket and pants and had her long hair tied into a ponytail.
Matthew has battled alcoholism and drug abuse for years. He first checked into rehab in 1997 for a Vicodin addiction and returned in February 2001 for addiction to Vicodin, methadone, amphetamines and alcohol. His latest rehab stint was in 2011, but he was later caught getting drunk outside a London restaurant in 2016.
In 2018, "The Odd Couple" alum had abdominal surgery to repair a gastrointestinal perforation. He spent 3 months recovering in the hospital and has since continued to attend therapy. In February of this year, he revealed on Twitter that he was kicked out of therapy for an unknown reason. He later clarified that he was "back in therapy where I belong."
