When his fans started to show concern over his well-being in the wake of his admission, the former 'Friends' star takes to social media to assure them he is already back for another session.

AceShowbiz - Actor Matthew Perry has been kicked out of therapy.

The former "Friends" star, who has battled alcohol and substance abuse for much of his career, took to Twitter on Thursday, February 07 to tell his followers of his latest misfortune.

"I got kicked out of therapy today," he wrote.

The reveal comes five months after Perry was hospitalised following an emergency operation to fix a gastrointestinal perforation.

According to a tweet he posted upon his release, he spent "three months in a hospital bed."

His representative added, "Matthew recently underwent surgery in a Los Angeles hospital to repair a gastrointestinal perforation. He is grateful for the concern and asks for continued privacy as he heals."

The actor previously checked into rehab in 1997 seeking help for a Vicodin addiction, and four years later he was back to recover from his use of drugs and alcohol.

Matthew has offered up no details regarding why he was asked to leave his therapy sessions.
