AceShowbiz - Despite defending herself over and over again, Summer Walker just can't stop criticism from coming towards her. It appears the R&B singer has reached her limit because on Sunday, November 3, she appeared to announce that she would quit her musical career due to the constant criticism that she kept receiving.

Launching a rant on her Instagram account, Summer began by declaring that people "don't deserve" her if they would not stop what they were doing. "Y'all can have the music & ima just head out, f**k the interviews, photo shoots, videos & really the shows too. I'll finish this tour out tho. I'm just a regular person, nothing more," she said.

Summer continued, "I been me from day one, I'm not bout to start acting different, talking different, treating people different, or looking different. People really expect too much from you. Everyday / everything isn't a miss America bad b***h contest & I don't feel the need to put others down to stay relevant. People really just DISCONNECTED... hiding behind these apps, these filters, the clothes, the makeup, the hair lol a lot of y'all need to step back & get into yourselves... from a different perspective."

Not stopping there, the "I'll Kill You" singer also urged people to put their energy into "patience, acceptance, understanding, self awareness, self love" rather than tearing each other. Summer then added, "But I know no one gives a s**t about what I'm saying so yeah, peace love & light."

Despite her success as a R&B musician, Summer has constantly become the target of criticism over almost everything she did. Most recently, the "Over It" singer was roasted over her choice to wear dreadlocks, and she wasn't holding back at all when clapping back at her critics, who were mostly black women.
