Immature member Jerome 'Rome' Jones reveals that his eye ball fell out after 'The Boy Is Mine' hitmaker cut it during her fight with his former bandmate.

AceShowbiz - Brandy Norwood blinded Jerome "Romeo" Jones from the 1990s popular R&B boyband Immature. Romeo himself confirmed the incident during a recent interview on Nick Cannon's podcast when asked about the eye patch that he always wore.
According to Romeo, the incident happened during their early career. The female R&B singer was fighting with the group's former member Don "Half Pint" Santos when she accidentally injured Romeo's eye. His eye ball fell out and someone had to catch it.
"It's true Brandy blinded me," he opened up. "[Brandy] and Half Pint got into [an argument]. And she had a book in her hand and tossed it back, not thinking anyone was that close." He added, "She cut my retina, detached it, [and] the lens to my eye fell out."
Although he never officially confirmed it until now, Romeo already addressed the incident in a song called "Look Down on Me" from his 2004 solo album "Food for Thought". He revealed in the track that he underwent three eye surgeries after the accident.
"She thought we'll never be cool again / But I put that on my life / I love her to death / If she hear me talking, I know she can hear the honesty in my voice and my sincerity," the lyrics read.
Brandy served as a background vocalist for Immature, now named IMx, in early 1990s along with her brother Ray J and rapper Ty Dolla $ign. Meanwhile, Half Pint was one of the original members of the group before he left and was replaced by Kelton "LDB" Kessee.
Earlier this year, IMx announced a series of concerts with special guests Ray J, B5, and J. Holiday. They will kick it off November 2 in New York and stop by Washington, DC, St. Louis, and Houston before wrapping it up in Atlanta on November 23.
