The singer, who has also just released his own album called 'Elevation', is not happy that Kanye's religious LP 'Jesus Is King' is placed on the hip hop charts.

AceShowbiz - Tank ranted on Twitter soon after Kanye West released his Gospel album "Jesus Is King" and it placed on the hip hop charts. According to Tank, Kanye's new album belonged to Gospel charts instead of hip hop rankings.

"I think it's disrespectful to Kanye to put his 'Gospel' album on the hip hop charts." He wrote. "This man is clearly about the business of a higher calling. Why can't his gospel album be a GOSPEL ALBUM? It's not a hip hop album! I'm just confused so I'm asking.."

When a fan accused him of being salty, Tank replied, "I'm saluting his hard work in a new genre and want him to get proper credit for it! How is that salty?" In a reply to another similar comment, he penned, "I want him to get his just due in the space he's working in. How did you miss that?"

Another argued, "Why can't it be on BOTH?" to which Tank asked, "How?" The fan then explained, "Some albums make both the Pop charts and RnB charts, why can't his album be on both the Hiphop and Gospel charts? I mean it's more than one genre of music..."

Tank himself also has just dropped his own new album titled "Elevation". Some fans mocked him for seemingly getting nervous about competing with Kanye on the charts since both of their albums arrived on the same day. "He (is) mad no one is listening to his album," a fan commented.

Kanye West's "Jesus Is King" was finally released after numerous delays. Hours before the album came out, the rapper even announced that he needed more time to complete the record but it was eventually revealed as scheduled on October 25. It's his ninth studio installment but his first foray into religious theme.
