The 'A Simple Favor' actress gives a birthday shout-out to her husband with a nose-picking photo, while the 'Wild Wild West' star uses the opportunity to remind Ryan that he forgot to send her some Aviation gin on her birthday.

AceShowbiz - The prankster is getting pranked on his birthday. Ryan Reynolds turned 42 years old on Wednesday, October 23 and his dearest and nearest ones have taken to social media to send him birthday wishes. But mimicking the "Deadpool" star's fashion, the sincere messages were laced with humor.

Blake Lively, for example, gave her husband a birthday shout-out by posting a picture of her picking Ryan's nose. "I picked a good one. Happy birthday @vancityreynolds," she captioned the image.

Ryan's "The Hitman's Bodyguard" co-star Salma Hayek, meanwhile, used the opportunity to remind him of his unfulfilled promise to her. "Yes, Ryan, I am using your birthday to post this picture where I don't look so bad, while you look all beat up," she wrote along with a photo of her looking sexy in a latex suit while Ryan pouted his lips close to the bottle of Aviation gin that she's holding.

Salma added, "and also I'd like to take this opportunity to remind you that you were gonna send me some Aviation gin for MY birthday AND THAT WAS ALMOST TWO MONTHS AGO... If you want to see more picture of yourself, please look at my stories... oh and Happy Birthday by the way."

The pictures that Salma posted on her Instagram Stories featured her, Ryan and Samuel L. Jackson on the set and during promotional tour for their movie. The "6 Underground" star's face, however, was mostly cropped out in those photos. "Happy Birthday to one of my dear friends Ryan Reynolds. Love sharing the screen with you," she wrote in the caption.

Ryan's close friend and fake enemy Hugh Jackman has not posted a birthday message to the Canadian hunk on his birthday. On Tuesday, he shared a "leaked" video which might explain why. In the clip which was seemingly filmed without his knowledge, "The Greatest Showman" star was seen arguing with an unseen woman about whether or not he should sing a happy birthday song for Ryan.

The woman insisted that Hugh should do it to return the favor after Ryan recently did the same on his birthday. But the Australian star refused to do it because he believed Ryan wasn't sincere with his birthday message.

Ryan previously wished Hugh a happy birthday with an expletive-laden clip which was played during the latter's one of "The Man. The Music. The Show." concerts.
