ARROGATION (Original Short Film)
In just thirteen minutes, writer-director Jack Nielsen crafts a taut psychological thriller that explores the dangerous...
In a world where the world’s top bodyguards and most notorious hitmen are mortal enemies, an unlikely alliance forms for one explosive mission. Ryan Reynolds stars as Michael Bryce, a once-elite executive protection agent whose career is in tatters, forced to protect his most despised client: the foul-mouthed, freewheeling hitman Darius Kincaid, played by Samuel L. Jackson. Kincaid is the key witness needed to testify against a brutal Eastern European dictator, Vladislav Dukhovich (Gary Oldman), and Bryce is the only one who can get him from point A to point B alive. What should be a simple escort becomes a chaotic, non-stop road trip across Europe as every corrupt cop and mercenary in Dukhovich’s pocket tries to silence them permanently. Fueled by constant bickering, blistering action, and the fiery influence of Kincaid’s incarcerated wife (Salma Hayek), this high-octane comedy-thriller from director Patrick Hughes pits two legendary figures against an army, proving that sometimes the only person who can save a life is the one who usually ends it.
