AceShowbiz - Tank recently stopped by Angela Yee's "Lip Service" podcast as he's promoting his latest studio offering, "Elevation". In the October 21 episode, they were talking about the myriad of excuses which men would come up when they did something wrong, a topic that somehow made the rapper talk about his view on same-sex oral intercourse.
During the discussion, co-host Lore'l said that her ex was a terrible liar because he lied to her twice. Begging to differ, Tank chimed in, "He's not a liar. He just lied twice." That prompted Angela to say, "So, let's say a guy sucked a d**k one time. Let's say twice," wondering if that would made the guy gay.
Tank later explained that doing same-sex oral intercourse didn't necessarily make a man gay, though he did admit that "twice is excessive." He went on saying, "He sucked a d**k once, right? Then, he's like I'm not sure if I liked it or not. Let me try it again, and then he says, 'You know what? It's not for me. Don't like the taste.' See what I'm saying?"
"It doesn't mean he's gay. It means he sucked d**k twice," he insisted. "The art of being gay is being gay. It's a continuous state of being."
His statement unsurprisingly sparked debate among Internet users. One person said on Twitter, "Tank can just admit he bi sexual . It's 2019 baby you're fully accepted but to say giving another man head ain't gay is just. baby I-." Another one added, "Tank said a man sucking dick 2x don't make him gay ... im out Lmfaoooo."
Meanwhile, some others felt that what he said was not entirely wrong. "I love how tank is transparent. Heterosexual n****s experiment with other heterosexual n****s more than people think. It’s just frowned on for men to experiment especially black men so it’s not discussed. Sadly,Gay men contribute to this bullshit just as much as homophobic folks," a person weighed in on the matter.
"Tank is absolutely right. It has to work both ways. If a self-identified gay man eats a girl out twice and doesn't like it, it doesn't make him straight, right?" one other echoed Tank's statement, "It's same concept just in reverse no matter how you wanna spin it. You can't pick and choose how and when it works."
