AceShowbiz - Cuba Gooding Jr.'s legal woes have spiked - the server who claims he grabbed her butt at TAO Nightclub a year ago (October 2018) is suing the Oscar winner.
The "Jerry Maguire" star has been accused of misconduct by seven women, and now one of them is stepping forward to detail her experience with the actor, insisting she has surveillance video to prove she was assaulted by him.
In legal papers obtained by TMZ, Natasha Ashworth claims she was working at TAO in New York when Cuba made an inappropriate joke about a penis and later allegedly grabbed her butt.
According to the new suit, filed on Monday, October 21, the actor insisted he touched her back when she confronted him, and when Ashworth suggested he should leave, he said, "You don't have to worry, because I am never coming back here again."
The plaintiff, who claims there are two surveillance videos that captured his behaviour, is suing Gooding for assault, battery and intentional infliction of emotional distress.
Her allegations stalled a hearing linked to another assault allegation. Ashworth's claims led New York prosecutors to charge Cuba with new counts of forcible touching and sexual abuse in the third degree.
He is due back in court on 13 December.
