In an episode titled 'Let Them Eat Goo', the Lakers star is mocked by the Comedy Central animated series as Cartman quotes his infamous statements about Daryl Morey's anti-China tweet.

AceShowbiz - LeBron James was mocked by "South Park" after the NBA star called Houston Rockets general manager Daryl Morey selfish and uneducated over the latter's controversial tweet supporting Hong Kong protests. Cartman quoted James' infamous comments in the fourth episode of Season 23.

In the most recent outing titled "Let Them Eat Goo" airing Wednesday, October 16, Cartman was upset when the school wanted to change lunch for healthier food as the citizens of South Park were moving toward a completely plant-based diet.

"Yes, we do have freedom of speech, but at times there are ramifications for the negative that can happen when you are not thinking about others and only thinking about yourself!" said Cartman as he confronted his peers who were in favor of the changes.

"They're trying to change people's lunch!" Cartman yelled before quoting the basketball player again, "They don't realize it harms people financially, physically, emotionally and spiritually!"

LeBron James called out Daryl Morey after the athlete returned from his trip to China. He headed to Shanghai with his team the Lakers to play the Brooklyn Nets in an exhibition game amid controversy surrounding Morey's tweet.

"I don't want to get into a word or sentence feud with Daryl Morey but I believe he wasn't educated on the situation at hand," James said. When asked why, he responded, "I don't know. That's my belief. That's all I can say. I believe he was either misinformed or not really educated on the situation."

He later clarified on Twitter that he didn't criticize the substance of Morey's tweet but rather his timing. Morey "could have waited a week to send it," so he wrote.

The Houston Rockets was suspended by the Chinese government following Morey's anti-China tweet. Soon after the controversy arose, the manager deleted his post and claimed in a newer tweet that he never intended to offend anyone.

The Rockets' owner Tilman Fertitta took to his own account to say that Morey did "NOT speak for the @HoustonRockets" and that the team was "NOT a political organization." Meanwhile, NBA called Morey's original comments "regrettable."

The NBA was later dissed by "South Park" in an October 2 outing called "Band in China". Hollywood was also mocked for bowing to China in the episode.

In response, China scrapped all episodes of the Comedy Central adult animated series from internet in the country. On top of that, the country "permanently banned" musician Zedd for liking a "South Park" tweet about the controversial episode.
