The comedian's candid post prompts fellow celebrities to respond to her question including Jenna Bush Hager, who says in the comment section that 'this is so important to say.'

AceShowbiz - Amy Schumer gets candid in her recent Instagram post. The 38-year-old new mom shared with her followers about her feelings when it comes to returning to work after welcoming her and husband Chris Fischer's first son Gene Attell Fischer.

"5 months today and like all moms I love him so much it hurts. Im feeling strong and good and like I’m still a human being with interests and ambitions and goals I'm excited to reach. It's felt good to be back at work," she opened the post. "I was so worried about it and was afraid to go back after he was 3 months old."

The "I Feel Pretty" actress revealed that she missed her baby so much that she cried. "A couple days I've cried from missing him. But it's mostly good to be back and the breaks energize me to be a better mom and appreciate our time even more," she added. "I have it a lot easier than many people but I wanted to share my experience. what was your going back to work experience?"

The post prompted fellow celebrities to respond to her question. One of the commenters was Drew Barrymore, who wrote, "I didn't care about anything. Everything seemed trivial if it wasn't about my kids. But after time, things fall into the new place. Not the old. Old is gone. Forever changed by a love that is indescribable!"

Meanwhile, Debra Messing recalled the time when she returned to star on "Will & Grace" after giving birth to her son. "Omg, my body hurt from his absence," said the actress. "I felt a physical yearning, and I questioned myself, and felt guilty, and would cry. It was hard. I'd feel such moments of joy making people laugh. I'd get lost in the work and it energized me and empowered me. And then I'd get home and literally sprint to his crib and rock him, feeling like I was HOME. It's hard, being a working mom. But I believe that we are better mom's when we are able to do what fulfills us. One hour at a time, Amy."

As for Jenna Bush Hager, she noted that "this is so important to say." Feeling grateful to the positive response, Amy wrote back in the comment section, "These comments are so good to read. Thank you."

Amy gave birth to Gene back in May. She previously got so much flak for returning to work only three weeks after giving birth by performing a set at the at the Comedy Cellar in New York City.
