The POTUS has, on October 2, posted the video, which uses the promo for the Canadian band's 2005 hit 'Photograph' to mock his Democratic presidential rival Joe Biden, on the social media site.

AceShowbiz - A video posted by U.S. President Donald Trump has been removed from Twitter after a copyright claim by Nickelback's representatives.

Trump posted the video, which uses the promo for the Canadian band's 2005 hit "Photograph" to mock his Democratic presidential rival Joe Biden, on the social media site on Wednesday, October 2.

However, the video was blocked due to a copyright claim on Thursday morning. It is not clear if the band asked for its removal themselves, or bosses at the label that released the track, Warner Music subsidiary Roadrunner Records. Representatives of the group did not respond to a request for comment and Nickelback have yet to address the matter on social media.

Nickelback deletes Donald Trump's video of their song

Nickelback's reps remove the video posted by Donald Trump on Twitter over a copyright claim.

The video opened with a clip of Biden saying he had never discussed business dealings with his son Hunter, before cutting to Nickelback frontman holding a photograph apparently showing both Bidens with an executive from an Ukrainian gas company. It is based on a popular meme.

Trump is currently facing impeachment proceedings after urging the Ukrainian president to investigate Hunter over his dealings in the country.

America's leader was previously hit with a takedown notice from Warner Bros chiefs in April over a campaign advert, scored with the soundtrack to the Batman film "The Dark Knight Rises".
