Confirming her and her 'Jurassic Park' co-stars' return to the franchise is the 'Big Little Lies' actress as she speaks to the audience at a screening of director Colin Trevorrow's 'Battle at Big Rock'.

AceShowbiz - "Jurassic Park" stars Laura Dern, Sam Neill, and Jeff Goldblum are to return to the franchise by starring in the upcoming "Jurassic World 3".

Laura, who was last seen starring as Dr. Ellie Sattler in "Jurassic Park III" in 2001, announced her comeback and Neill and Goldblum's returns as she spoke to the audience at a fan screening of director Colin Trevorrow's eight-minute "Jurassic World" short "Battle at Big Rock" on Tuesday night, September 24.

The "Big Little Lies" star, Neill and Goldblum all enjoyed huge success when they starred in the original "Jurassic Park" film in 1993, directed by Steven Spielberg, with the latter reprising his role as Ian Malcolm in the most recent instalment in the franchise - 2018's "Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom".

The news comes after Trevorrow, who directed the first "Jurassic World" movie in 2015 and will be back at the helm for "Jurassic World 3", said he was keen to reunite Dern and Neill for the sequel.

"I can confirm nothing, but nothing would make me happier," the director told Variety.

Dern also recently said she "could never say no" to reprising her role in the next movie, but she told Entertainment Tonight, "I don't even know what they're cooking up yet."

"I met Chris (Pratt) recently at a restaurant and we didn't know each other. It was really funny; we ran into each other's arms and hugged each other like we were family! And he just seems fantastic."
