AceShowbiz - Just when you think "Thank U, Next" music video couldn't get any better, Ariana Grande has released a hilarious sequel the hit visuals. However, rather than unveiling it to promote her album, the songstress dropped the short video sequel in support of her newly released perfume that was named after the chart-topping song.
The beginning of the one-minute-and-fourteen-second video is similar to the original visuals'. What makes it different is that the students are gossiping about Ariana's new perfume instead of the singer. In contrary to the original video, Ariana joins the students in talking about the perfume in this clip, dressing up as a cheerleader.
Poking fun at herself, the Nickelodeon alum says, "Honestly I'm not the biggest Ariana Grande fan, but I do hear the new fragrance is somewhat promising." One student then spills that there are rumors about her putting "part of her ponytail" in the perfume, as the scene cuts to Ariana chopping off parts of her hair to put into the fragrance.
There is also a scene of Ariana inside a fragrance lab, where she wears a huge lavender puffer jacket with thigh-high white gogo boots. Her do, Toulouse, accompanies her there, matching with Ariana in a metallic pink jacket. She later writes in the burn book about how the scent has left her "shaking."
"Thank U, Next" perfume retails for $62 at Ulta Beauty store. It comes within the form of a cracked pink coronary heart, options scents of white pear, raspberry, coconut and pink rose petals. Ariana partnered with Luxe Brands to launch the new product.
"I wanted to make a fragrance that smells related to my first fragrance Ari but more summery, so I revisited Ari's fruity pear and raspberry notes and changed it up by adding some coconut," she said of the perfume in a statement. "I was inspired to design a bottle that represented the message of my song 'Thank U, Next' -- the emergence of the perfume from the broken heart represents moving forward from a challenging chapter."
