Six months after their frontman was found dead at his home near Dunmow, Essex, the 'Firestarter' hitmakers share a touching tribute on social media to mark what would have been his big day.

AceShowbiz - The Prodigy has paid tribute the late Keith Flint on what would have been the band's frontman's 50th birthday.

The "Firestarter" hitmaker was found dead at his home near Dunmow, Essex on 4 March, and his bandmate Liam Howlett told fans in an Instagram post that his friend "took his own life".

A coroner later heard the star had taken a cocktail of drugs and booze before hanging himself, following an inquest into the musician's death.

While the group recently returned to the studio for the first time since his tragic death, Liam and Maxim took a moment on Tuesday, September 17, to mark what would have been the singer's big day with a touching post on Twitter.

Alongside a series of throwback photographs of the "Breathe" star, they wrote: "Happy birthday Flinty. Not a single day passes u aren't in our thoughts, we miss you brother."

"Raise the roof wherever u are muthaf**ka! L & M …. x #theprodigy #weliveforever #weliveforthebeats #raisetheroof #neverstop (sic)."
