In a video remembering 9/11, the former football player advises everyone not to quickly jump into a conclusion that the NFL star is guilty of raping his former trainer Britney Taylor as he's accused of.

AceShowbiz - O.J. Simpson has given his two cents on rape allegations against Antonio Brown, but apparently people didn't want to hear that. The former murder suspect has received backlash after he appeared to defend the 31-year-old NFL star and suggested that he doesn't believe the allegations made against Antonio.

The 72-year-old former football player shared his opinion in a Twitter video posted on Wednesday, September 11. He opened it with tribute to the 18th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, before weighing on Antonio's case.

"I saw where somebody [Britney Taylor] accused Antonio of rape," O.J. said. "Now, lets make one thing clear: he was accused, not charged. I don't know how that's going to affect him (in Week 2). I'm hoping its not true. Nothing I knew about Antonio would make me think someone would do something like that." He once again stressed, "I hope it's not true. I'm just saying."

While O.J. appeared to sympathize with Antonio, people think the convicted robber is the least person who should be weighing on the issue. "I feel like, maybe, you're the least credible person to comment on someone's legal issues/troubles," one commented on his video. Another similarly told him, "juice you might wanna stay outta this one."

Others brought up the murder allegations which O.J. was acquitted of despite communal belief that he's guilty of killing his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ron Goldman. "If anyone knows the difference between charged and accused it's you. Well I mean you did it, let's hope Antonio didn't," one blasted the former athlete.

Another sarcastically wrote, "I know, it's not like NFL or former NFL players would commit a horrible crime like rape or murder. I see you're still on the golf course, searching for the 'real killers' or your wife and her friend. Maybe you've seen him, when you look in the mirror on the cart."

As reported before, Antonio is hit with a civil lawsuit by his former trainer, Britney Taylor, accusing him of rape. The gymnast, whom the New England Patriots receiver met while they were attending Central Michigan together and whom he later hired as a trainer, claims he sexually assaulted and raped her during three separate encounters between 2017 and 2018.

Antonio's attorney Darren Heitner said in a statement on Tuesday, "Mr. Brown denies each and every allegation in the lawsuit," insisting that "the accuser engaged Mr. Brown in a consensual personal relationship" and that "any sexual interaction with Mr. Brown was entirely consensual." The lawyer added, "He will pursue all legal remedies to not only clear his name but to also protect other professional athletes against false accusations."

Britney, meanwhile, said in a statement released by her lawyer, "As a rape victim of Antonio Brown, deciding to speak out has been an incredibly difficult decision. I have found strength in my faith, my family, and from the accounts of other survivors of sexual assault."

She continued, "Speaking out removes the shame that I have felt for the past year and places it on the person responsible for my rape. I will cooperate with the NFL and any other agencies; however, at this time, I respectfully request that the media please respect my privacy."

In related news, videos of Antonio and his rape accuser have gone viral. They showed the athlete and his former trainer on bed or fooling around. Judging from the video, some people then defended Antonio and accused Britney of lying about her rape claims.
